The Verderers have decided that they will not require the 6 yr olds and under in the stallion scheme to be inspected this year. They will roll their membership of the scheme over until next year without inspection. The owners of the 5 year olds will need to make arrangements to have them vetted in readiness for turning out.
The colt inspections are also postponed until further notice with the hope that they can be rearranged when possible or at least keep to the 26th Sept. Owners are reminded that even in these exceptional circumstances the usual rules will apply to 2 yr old colts who may not be shown (when shows resume) or ‘used at stud’ prior to obtaining their full licence.
