Meet Buddie…
I’ve had him for 8 years now and I took him on without knowing anything about him really. He was a rescue, but I just need to clarify that actually he rescued me!Buddie was not in a good state of mind or body… very aggressive, very nervous and he just wanted to keep himself to himself, but through perseverance we became great friends!
Buddie and I have achieved so very much and he is always safe and sensible, but he is also a pocket rocket when he needs to be and is so clever and knows when to shift gears!
We have competed in ridden and in-hand showing, fun rides, show jumped and qualified for events multiple times, dressage (I hate it, but we do well!) and we have also done xc (again I’m not a fan).
He has taught my son to ride and made so many dreams come true. He has taken my cousin, who missed out on a space at her riding school for a Christmas ride…decorated and not bothered! Amongst all else Buddie remains the bravest, kindest and loving little pony.
I never thought I’d be so lucky to have him in my life… he is my soulmate, my best friend and my hero. I’ve had him since I was almost 17 and he’s been there with me through thick and thin… Mr Reliable!
